eXtra new items just announced by Fleischmann for the month of May. The highlight must surely be the BR218 in the attractive TEE colour scheme. In 2010, the DB AG gave this locomotive this unique livery. It’s now used to haul special excursion and charter trains – particularly the famous “Rheingold” nostalgia train. This Fleischmann model reproduces her in action, with airbrushed, weathered finish in conventional 2 rail and DCC sound versions. The other stand-out release is the exquisite, tiny Bavarian Tank - now available in a freight set as CLOTHO (named after the
Greek Goddess responsible for weaving human life) together with 2 Bavarian freight wagons. Also and incredibly, now available with DCC Sound fitted!
